In The Western Horizon Glows, Sherrie-Leigh Jones explores the interplay between printed image and the surface of the wood’s natural grain.
Combining graphite, pigment and ink, Jones works intuitively, layering printed elements and allowing the surface of the wood to become an integral part of each composition. The resulting works reflect a more spontaneous approach to printmaking, embracing the unexpected possibilities of the process.
